Jewelry by Kaye

Jewelry by Kaye grew out of my love for jewelry and my passion for mosaics. My desire was to create a functional piece of art. Each piece is a one of a kind minature mosaic.  Several years ago I visited Venice, Italy and  I fell in love with this little treasure called millefiori.  Millefiori means "a thousand flowers" and is made on the small island of Murano, Italy. Every piece of jewelry that I create is very special to me. Different techniques are used to create the vintage line and the warm glass fused jewelry which is fired in a glass kiln.  The one thing that is unique to both styles is the use of millefiori. Some of the millefiori is over 50 years old. I add natural stones, gems, and Italian glass in the vintage line. To date I have created over 100 pendants, bracelets, and earrings. Below is just a small sample of my jewelry.
